I painted Daydreaming as a reflection of individuality, freedom, and the right for a young woman of color to explore her own imagination without being unrooted. 

The clouds, blossoms, and birds represent imagination, emotion, and possibility taking shape around her. She is not lost in fantasy, but exploring her inner world and giving reality to it. This painting celebrates the freedom to dream bigger, imagine more, and exist beyond limitation while remaining fully grounded in yourself.
